Pit River

The Pit River tribe was made of many several bands of Native Americans who resided mainly in the northeastern part of California along the Pit River area near Montgomery creek.

The Pit River tribe's basketry was typically made in a twined style and often used willow rods, bear grass and maidenhair fern.
