Aleut

The Aleut tribe live in the Aleutian Islands and the western portion of the Alaska Peninsula of northwestern North America and the Aleutian Islands, and was originally a name used by Algonquian Indians for the Inuit people of eastern Canada. Aleut women made baskets woven from grasses for utilitarian purposes and at times for trading.
